The “Glee” cutie and everyone’s favorite amphibian teamed up for a performance of “Rainbow Connection” during E!’s live Oscar countdown show.

Looking dapper in black tuxedos, the duo launched into a banter-filled performance of the famous Muppets hit, with Darren accompanying on acoustic guitar. It is the cutest Oscar performance we’ve seen in years … and it didn’t even take place during the show.
